Decided to sell your Cappuccino?

Cappuccino Sport is buying Cappuccinos to give them a second life. If your Cappuccino is your second car, sitting in the back of your garage waiting for the right price to sell, this proposal might interest you.

Notice: To be eligible for this scheme, your Cappuccino must have never been in a serious accident or have any rust beyond repair.

Outline: We agree on your asking price – We restore – We sell – You get your asking price

Imagine, no advertisement fees, insurance and road tax to worry about, plus you are guaranteed your full asking price.

Steps:

  1. Send us the details of the Cappuccino you are selling.
    1. We would like pictures of all the details that make your Cappuccino different to the others. Good and bad sides!
    2. Pictures of all the rusted spots, scratches, over used parts, etc.
      1. This is in order to make a list of the parts that we will need to replace or recondition.
    1. Chassis number
      1. If it’s an import, we need to know when it was imported.
    1. List of repairs, maintenance, upgrades and part replacements that have been done to your Cappuccino.
    2. Your asking price for your Cappuccino.
  2. From the information you have sent us, we take an instant decision to buy or not.

    1. If successful, we will send you a “Cappuccino Sales agreement Contract”. (Click here to Download)
      1. So far we haven’t argued any prices on all the Cappuccinos we have purchased. We have simply given the full asking price.
  3. You send us/drive to us your Cappuccino to Colchester:

    1. If, your description corresponds to the details you have first sent us and there are only a few bits and pieces that you didn’t notice, we will still give you the agreed price.
      1. If, however once we received your Cappuccino we found that the wholel car is rusted, the seals are all gone, and the engine is going to collapse, we will have to renegotiate this price. As you know, some Cappuccinos look great on the outside but when you look closely… you can have a lot of surprises.
      2. We recommend that you get your Cappuccino checked by your local garage to be certain of the state before you deliver your Cappuccino to us.
    2. We sign the “Cappuccino Sales agreement Contract”.
      1. This is your proof of delivery.

      2. You keep the registration certificate as you remain the owner until it is sold.

  4. We restore/refresh your Cappuccino.

    1. All parts to change are Cappuccino Sports responsibility as well as the cost for the restoration and preparation.
  5. We deliver the Cappuccino to the customers; get paid and give you your asking price in exchange for the registration certificate: once it is sold.

Q&A

Q. I’m possibly at a disadvantage if I’m driving my Cappuccino to Colchester, leave it there to be checked over, then you don't agree the price offered so will need to go back to collect my car - again at my own expense etc.

A. We can have a look at your Cappuccino whilst you wait. A price will be agreed before hand. So you don’t have to come back to pick it up. If you have described your Cappuccino accurately , and there is no surprises when you deliver, we will give you the agreed price. But it is true that if your Cappuccino is not what you make out to be, price will have to be renegotiated or we may refuse to buy your Cappuccino. It is important that you give an accurate description. For us, it is mainly the parts that differentiate your Cappuccino from the others that is interesting: good and bad. Pictures of the engine bay, top wheel arches rust, radio, seats, any damaged or over used area, etc. Basically, we are trying to calculate how much it is going to cost us to bring it back to new.

Q. Will there be any charges for me?

A. We will certainly not ask you to give us any money what so ever. So any cost, including the shipping, import/export is Cappuccino Sports responsibility. This is not a scam where at some point I will turn around and say: “ Well.. if… perhaps… it will cost you…” You probably already know the reputation we have among Cappuccino owners. If not, I can give you a few good contacts among SCORE and other suppliers. You can also have a look at our guest book:

Q. How long will it take before I get the cash?

A. We are very confident that your Cappuccino will sell quickly after the freshn’up.  So far we have sold all of them before they were finished. (About 10 so far) But, we never know. So we don’t want you to wait for ever for your Cappuccino to be sold, before you get any money. That’s why we promise to give you the agreed price in a maximum time of 3 months.

Q. Why do you think you can sell my Cappuccino quicker than me and at a better price?

A. Many people prefer to buy from a specialised dealer like us because of the warranty which comes with the vehicle once sold. They prefer a specialist who check the car knowing the weaknesses; prepare it, restore it, ready for their second life. Buying direct from you means having to find someone that knows about the car to prepare it, change the parts that need to be changed and risking the car having some problem that was not showing when tested. We are offering certified quality and peace of mind, and customers are willing to pay for this extra. We also know people interested in buying Cappuccinos. We do shows that promote the all the benefits of having a Cappuccino. We also have a show room where customers come to view the cars at their leisure.
