Cappuccino Sport car project XL

Suzuki Cappuccino Sport :

To understand where’s the design of this XL Cappuccino come from, you have to go back to our 1st Cappuccino design; the black limited edition with large wheels and body kit. Well, the one which everyone is recognising us from. For sure it was a great looking Cappuccino but the finish could have been better.

This original type of body kit is consisting of gluing side skirts, wheels arches, front and rear bumpers. But for this XL one we wanted to go a step further. So we ended up creating moulds that will give a better finish to the car. We still built Cappuccinos with the glue on kits as it is cheaper. But now a day, we just do it better.

George was one of those typical Cappuccino owners that loved the car, a lot, but wanted to maximise the capabilities of this little Kei car. He was left on his appetite for some more. Extrapolate a bit what was already so good. He had a bit of spare cash and he hasn’t find on the market any other cars that will give him the “fun” factor that is so predominant in the Cappuccino. He best option: revamp his own Cappuccino.

I wrote “typical Cappuccino owner” because I didn’t see anyone yet spending over £30,000 on a car which the bottom book value is about £2,000 which wasn’t there’s first. Indeed, modern cars which are over 15 years old tend to be sent to the scrap, with no regrets after so many years. But not the Cappuccino; oh no no!!!!! Once you try one of them, most people tend to fall in love with it.

Here’s what George had to say about it:

"Probably the most exciting production car manufactured by Suzuki, the Cappuccino doesn’t fail to turn heads and when I was looking for my first car it certainly turned mine. It was hard (even in 2000) to find a good quality, low mileage Cappuccino, but I found one and quickly fell in love with this unique car.

After owning the car a few years, I decided that it needed a bit more power and street style. A few people recommended Cappuccino Sport as a company who had a good knowledge of this unique car and after a few enquiries; I was amazed at the friendliness of the company, particularly the founder who offered advice and support choosing the right parts. The car had a complete facelift and I was involved every step of the way to produce a totally individual Cappuccino.

Above all else, the quality of the work completed on my car was outstanding as Cappuccino Sport has such an in-depth and specialised knowledge of the model. Cappuccino Sport completely rebuilt and restored my car, stripping it back to the bare shell replacing anything worn or faded. After three years and 10,000 miles it’s still as good as new and fantastic fun to drive. I wouldn’t trust anyone else with my car!"
