Originally designed for Japanese vehicles these kits are, in most cases, the simplest in terms of installation and method of operation. Typically they will allow the door to open out a few inches, then swing up to an angle of 50 - 65 degrees, (depending on application) Following some upward pressure on the door pull / handle.
Particularly suitable for Japanese and European cars with relatively light doors (eg Ford Focus, Honda, Peugeot and Renault hatchback models, etc). The VDC universal kits can be made to fit almost any car due to their small "foot print" and narrow width.
These kits are the ONLY such “Lambo” vertical door systems that are sufficiently well engineered to comfortably accommodate the weight and hinge arrangement of BMW and other European car doors without malfunction, "wobble", leaks etc. These systems also allow the highest vertical lift on ANY such doors on the market (so no gymnastics to get in and out of your car).

Decah Vertical Door Conversion Kits are one of the most popular modifications available for sport compacts today. The VDC is a TRUE bolt on system that comes complete with one left and one right bidirectional pivotal assembly system, wire extensions, detailed instructions, zip ties, door springs and replacement door and chassis high strength coated steel hardware. Simply remove your fender and stock hinges, bolt on the VDC, reinstall fender and your vertical. No extra post VDC cost due to body/chassis restructuring, resurfacing and repainting. When you buy the VDC there is nothing else to buy or do in order to complete this installation. This kit is also known as Lamborghini Style Door Hinge, Vertical Lift or Butterfly Doors.
